You’ll Never Guess What I Found at Sheridan Nursery (Plant Shopping 🫣)

Hi plant friends. I was recently reminded of Sheridan Nursery which is actually a local store for me. I cannot believe I have not been here in such a long time. I think it is because they were closed for renovations for a while and somehow I completely missed the grand reopening. But today I am back and Sheridan is back on my regular plant shopping routine.

Since it has been a while, I really took my time to stroll through the store. I checked out their orchids, their tropicals, and even some of their impressive specimen-size plants. It was one of those quiet and lazy Sundays that just felt perfect for heading to the nursery and soaking in all the beautiful houseplants.

They had plenty of the classic houseplants we all know and love along with a few uncommon gems such as the slipper orchid. While their prices are on the higher side for some plants, there are still reasonable finds in the tropical section so do not be discouraged by a bit of sticker shock especially on the slipper orchids. In my opinion, these orchids were top notch already in bloom with some working on second buds. That is a lot better than ordering online and risking your plant suffering from shipping and transport stress.
