If you’re a plant lover in the Toronto area, June 2026 is a big month. Three events are happening in a matter of weeks ā and together they cover everything from rare tropicals and orchids to cacti, succulents, cut flowers, and handmade pottery. Whether you’re a collector chasing a unicorn plant or just getting into houseplants, there’s something here for you. Here’s everything you need to know.
Event 1: Toronto Flower Market ā June 13, 2026
š 1001 Queen St West, TD Commons @ CAMH (Corner of Queen St W & Shaw St), Toronto, ON š Hours:Check torontoflowermarket.ca for confirmed times š° Admission: Free to attend
The Toronto Flower Market runs monthly from May through October, and the June edition is always a great one to catch. It’s a celebration of locally grown blooms and plants, connecting growers directly with plant lovers across the city. The market has been blooming since 2013 and has grown into one of Toronto’s best outdoor market experiences.
Why Plant Lovers Should Go
Two vendors that I always look forward to at the Toronto Flower Market are Crystal Star Nursery and Roehampton Orchids ā and both are confirmed on the 2026 vendor list.
If you follow Life of Bellina, you already know Crystal Star Nursery. I’ve featured them before ā you can watch my previous Toronto Flower Market video featuring Crystal Star Nursery here: Life of Bellina | Toronto Flower Market ft. Crystal Star Nursery. They consistently bring an incredible selection of tropical houseplants and are one of the best finds in the Southern Ontario plant scene.
Roehampton Orchids (roehamptonorchids.ca) is another standout. If you’re on the hunt for orchids, this is a vendor worth seeking out specifically. Dedicated orchid vendors at a flower market are not something you see every day.
The 2026 vendor lineup is stacked beyond those two, with dozens of flower growers, florists, plant shops, ceramicists, and more. It’s a true community market.

Event 2: Toronto Cactus & Succulent Club Annual Show & Sale ā June 14, 2026
š Toronto Botanical Gardens, Floral Hall ā 777 Lawrence Ave E, Toronto, ON š 10 AM ā 4 PM š° Admission: Free āæ Accessible venue
One day after the Flower Market, the Toronto Cactus & Succulent Club holds their Annual Show & Sale at the Toronto Botanical Gardens ā and this one is a favourite of mine. I go every year and I have videos from previous years on my YouTube channel if you want to see what it’s like. Go search Life of Bellina on YouTube and look for my past Toronto Cactus & Succulent Club coverage to get a feel for the vibe before you go.
This is a specialized show, which means the vendors really know their stuff. With around 15 vendors confirmed so far, expect to find rare cacti, unusual succulents, hard-to-find cultivars, and plants you won’t come across at a regular garden centre. It’s also a fantastic event for learning ā the cactus and succulent community in Toronto is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming to newcomers.
A Vendor to Watch: A Pinch of Earth, A Pinch of Fire
One of my absolute favourites at this show every year is A Pinch of Earth, A Pinch of Fire (@apinchofearthapinchoffireon Instagram). They specialize in handcrafted pottery ā and if you collect cacti and succulents, you know that the right pot makes all the difference. Their pieces are made for the plants: the proportions work, the drainage works, and the aesthetic is stunning. It’s one of those vendors where you go in planning to just look and walk out with something beautiful. Highly recommend checking them out.

Event 3: Ontario Plant Expo ā June 27, 2026
š The Parkdale Hall ā 1605 Queen Street W #3, Toronto, ON M6R 1A9 š 10 AM ā 6 PM š° $5 Entry Fee
Rounding out the month is the Ontario Plant Expo ā which is billing itself as Toronto’s biggest plant event of the summer, and from the looks of it, they might be right. This is a one-day-only event with 35+ vendors, covering rare and collector plants, plant accessories and supplies, unique finds, and one-day-only drops.
If you’re a collector, the “one-day-only drops” aspect alone makes this worth showing up for early. These are the kinds of events where vendors save their most sought-after plants specifically for the day ā and they sell fast.
What to expect:
- Rare & collector plants
- Plant accessories and supplies
- Unique finds for every plant lover
- One-day-only drops
