BellinaShopping at the Toronto Cactus and Succulent Club Fall Sale was an unforgettable experience. The event took place at the Toronto Botanical Garden and from the moment I arrived, I could feel the buzz in the air. Enthusiasts and collectors had already begun lining up before the doors even opened, all eager to discover rare plants and add new treasures to their collections.
The sale itself was spectacular. Tables were filled with uncommon cacti, succulents, and other drought-tolerant gems that you rarely see in regular garden centers. The variety was so impressive that it was almost overwhelming to decide where to start. I found myself wandering from vendor to vendor, admiring both familiar favorites and plants I had never encountered before.
One of the highlights for me was meeting the team from Han Plant Club (hanplantclub.com). Their selection was absolutely captivating, featuring plants such as Pachypodium brevicaule, Euphorbia obesa, Turbinicarpus la Negrita, and Astrophytum asterias. These are the types of plants that instantly spark curiosity and inspire growers to keep learning and expanding their collections.
It was equally rewarding to meet so many friendly faces throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat.
